Dr. Shahin Safarian knows how to help dentists succeed because he’s been right where you are now. He was a successful dental student–graduating into Tufts School of Dental Medicine (one of the 6 top dental schools in the country) in 2001. Then he set out to start his own dental practice. It wasn’t easy–he struggled at first. But through hard work, he learned the lessons of success and turned his practice around. Now he runs three dental clinics as part of his 7 Figure Dental Practice.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Safarian was a professional soccer player with the San Diego Sockers and Puebla F.C. As with all professional sports, the world of soccer is very competitive. In fact, it’s even more so in the US because there are so few opportunities for soccer players to get paid to play, and Dr. Safarian made it. Then he decided to move on from the world of professional soccer to become a dentist.
A Lifelong Learner
Dr. Safarian’s degree from Tufts University only represented the beginning of his dental education, not the end. Since then, he has averaged more than 150 hours of continuing education each year, expanding his knowledge in areas like cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), dental implants, and orthodontic treatments. He did much of this training at LVI, where he worked with some of the most renowned dentists in the world, then took his place among them as an LVI Graduate.
But his learning doesn’t just come from the classroom. An astute student of life, Dr. Safarian sees every obstacle as an opportunity for learning and growth, and running his clinics has taught him many lessons about customer service and marketing. He has learned how to make his practice appealing so that he can bring in a steady stream of patients. Perhaps more importantly, he has learned to make his practice efficient so that he can keep more of what he brings in.
Dr. Safarian knows that success is not something you can have in the blink of an eye. It requires hard work, consistency, self-belief, self-discipline, and determination. Saying those words is easy, but achieving them is not. They are the result of thousands of individual choices we make every day, and it’s easy to make the wrong choice, or let the choice go by because we don’t understand the significance of these daily actions.
Over the years, Dr. Safarian has learned all these choices matter, and he has learned how to make himself make the right ones.
Dr. Safarian knows that the lessons he learned aren’t special to his case. Instead, these lessons are almost universal–they can be used by anyone who is prepared to commit them. By following these lessons, even a struggling dentist can be a success.
If you are looking for a dentist who is prepared to work with you 1-on-1 and share the lessons of their success, then you are looking for Dr. Safarian, who is changing the practice of dentistry, one dentist at a time.
